A counter-terrorism special forces unit that works directly under the prime minister. Originally established as the “International Rescue Team” under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 80% of the original budget was appropriated as its founding funds. It is an offensive organization with the mission of detecting and eliminating criminal elements in advance, with tasks ranging from intelligence operations, protecting VIPs, cracking down on corruption, preventing cybercrimes and terrorism, and more.
