“DEEP DIVE / Ghost in the Shell in TOKYO NODE” Announces Two Additional Acts: Night Tempo and TREKKIE TRAX CREW feat. Minami Nakamura; VJs WEIRDCORE (UK), Taiyo Yamamoto, RYUICHI ONO, and YUYA TAKEDA Confirmed!
The Ghost in the Shell Exhibition Production Committee (Kodansha Ltd., Mori Building Co., Ltd., KDDI Corporation, Production I.G, Inc., PARCO Co., Ltd., and Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc.) has announced the second wave of artists for the official music event “DEEP DIVE / Ghost in the Shell in TOKYO NODE.” The event will take place within the Ghost in the Shell exhibition, held from January 30 (Fri.) to April 5 (Sun.), 2026, at TOKYO NODE GALLERY, located on the 45th floor of Toranomon Hills Station Tower in Tokyo.
This special event synchronizes “music” with the visionary world of the landmark sci-fi series Ghost in the Shell. In addition to the previously announced headliner THE SPELLBOUND × BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, as well as 80KIDZ and D.A.N., newly confirmed acts include Night Tempo—the Korean DJ/producer known for reconstructing ’80s Japanese pop into “future funk”—and TREKKIE TRAX CREW, a driving force in Japan’s dance music scene. They will present a special set featuring Minami Nakamura, celebrated for her exceptional linguistic sensibility and high-energy performances.
Expanding the immersive experience visually, WEIRDCORE—globally renowned for his visual direction for Aphex Twin—will travel from the UK to serve as VJ for the event. For this exhibition, WEIRDCORE will create a special visual experience for THE SPELLBOUND × BOOM BOOM SATELLITES. Rising visual artists including Taiyo Yamamoto, RYUICHI ONO, and YUYA TAKEDA will also participate. Expect an unprecedented night where neo-Showa aesthetics, cyberpunk, and cutting-edge digital art converge.
