“Ghost and the Shell”: First Lineup Revealed from Over 100 Exhibition-Exclusive Original Goods Spanning the Entire Series

The Ghost in the Shell Exhibition Ghost and the Shell Executive Committee (Kodansha Ltd., Mori Building Co., Ltd., KDDI Corporation, Production I.G, Inc., PARCO Co., Ltd., and Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc.) has unveiled the first lineup of official exhibition-exclusive merchandise (55 items) to be sold at the Ghost in the Shell Exhibition “Ghost and the Shell,” which will be held from January 30 (Fri) to April 5 (Sun), 2026, at TOKYO NODE, the information hub of Toranomon Hills.

The exhibition will feature over 100 original official merchandise items, including apparel such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, caps, and scarves, as well as lifestyle goods like plush charms, posters, and stickers.

The first wave includes items created specifically for this exhibition, drawing on key visuals and iconic scenes from across the Ghost in the Shell series, which celebrates its 30th anniversary since the theatrical release of Mamoru Oshii’s landmark film GHOST IN THE SHELL (1995). The lineup also incorporates rare licensed materials that have never before been merchandised, along with special exhibition-only designs that fuse the worlds of multiple series beyond individual titles.

Among more than 60 items and over 25 collaborations, the exhibition will present 15 premium collaboration projects, including apparel collaborations with GEEKS RULE, atmos × Reebok (INSTAPUMP FURY 94), and HATRA, as well as figures such as the multi-legged tank by KOTOBUKIYA and a Motoko Kusanagi figure (original comic color version) by Good Smile Company. Additional standout items include techno-inspired folding screens and other unique designs, each reinterpreting the Ghost in the Shell universe through the distinctive perspectives of the collaborating brands.

The apparel lineup spans every major Ghost in the Shell work, starting with GHOST IN THE SHELL (1995), and including Innocence, the Stand Alone Complex series, ARISE, SAC_2045, and even the legendary 1997 original PlayStation game GHOST IN THE SHELL—appearing in apparel form for the first time since its release. Featuring animation artwork previously unavailable for use and unprecedented cross-series designs, these items are achievable only through an official exhibition of this scale. Special attention has also been given to materials and garment quality, reflecting the franchise’s long-standing relationship with fashion collaborations. The result is a cross-series collection that captures the evolving aesthetics, philosophies, and cultural impact of Ghost in the Shell, while blending anime and contemporary fashion trends.

The lifestyle goods lineup includes highlights such as plush charms of the Laughing Man and a black-colored Tachikoma, original shopping bags featuring the exhibition’s key visual, and acrylic stands spotlighting Motoko Kusanagi from each series.

Looking ahead, additional announcements will follow, including further official exhibition merchandise and collaborations with apparel brands such as WACKO MARIA, Infinite Archives × GEEKS RULE, G-SHOCK, Brain Dead, NX7 × UNLABELED, HATRA, NA, and Dungeon Crawler. Collaborations with renowned creators including Hajime Sorayama, Mai Yoneyama, Kosuke Kawamura, and weirdcore, as well as figure releases from PRIME 1 STUDIO, are also planned. Please look forward to the second wave of merchandise announcements, which will be revealed alongside participating brand logos.
