“Ghost in the Shell Exhibition” A Complete Reveal of All Merchandise Details — Including Newly Added Items and Release Dates for Collaboration Products!
The Production Committee of Ghost in the Shell Exhibition (Kodansha Ltd., Mori Building Co., Ltd., KDDI Corporation, Production I.G, Inc., PARCO Co., Ltd., and Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc.) is currently presenting “Ghost in the Shell Exhibition” at TOKYO NODE, the information hub within Toranomon Hills, from January 30 (Fri.) to April 5 (Sun.), 2026.
In addition to collaboration merchandise with Mai Yoneyama, WACKO MARIA, G-SHOCK, and Hajime Sorayama, the release date has been set for original exhibition goods featuring the newly unveiled key visual from the upcoming animation Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL (produced by Science SARU, broadcasting from July 2026).
Further newly announced items include a replica script of the 1995 film GHOST IN THE SHELL, bearing a reproduced signature of director Mamoru Oshii, and a special cassette edition of the soundtrack GHOST IN THE SHELL with exclusive exhibition design—an irresistible lineup for devoted fans.
With overwhelmingly positive responses and a fully revealed merchandise lineup, the Ghost in the Shell Exhibition continues to captivate audiences through the end of its run.
■ Newly Revealed Original Exhibition Goods, Including the First Merchandise from the New TV Animation
Since Masamune Shirow first published the original manga in 1989 in Young Magazine Kaizokuban (Kodansha), the Ghost in the Shell franchise has expanded across numerous works, including Mamoru Oshii’s 1995 film GHOST IN THE SHELL, multiple animated adaptations, and a Hollywood live-action film—continuously inspiring and stimulating audiences worldwide.
New merchandise featuring the first key visual from the latest TV anime Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, set to premiere in July 2026 on the nationwide Kantele/Fuji TV network (Tuesday 11:00 PM “Hianival!!” programming block), will be available.
Additionally, the revival-screening-exclusive reprint pamphlet of GHOST IN THE SHELL (released during last year’s 4K remastered screening) will be reissued in a special exhibition edition. A replica script used during the original voice recording sessions will also be released as a new product for the first time.
Moreover, the original 1995 soundtrack GHOST IN THE SHELL , now difficult to obtain, will be reissued as a cassette tape edition. Each cassette includes a SONOCA card-type music media serial code, enabling playback on smartphones.
