King Gnu’s new single “GO GHOST” is set for digital release on Wednesday, July 29. The song serves as the opening theme for the TV anime THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, which premiered on Tuesday, July 7.
Along with the announcement, the jacket artwork for “GO GHOST” has been unveiled, featuring the series’ main character, Motoko Kusanagi. Be sure to check it out.
The latest TV anime series, THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, began broadcasting on July 7, 2026, and currently airs every Tuesday at 11:00 PM on the Kantele/Fuji TV national network during the “Hianibar!!” programming block. The creditless opening sequence featuring “GO GHOST” is now available on the official YouTube channel, offering fans a sneak peek at a snippet of the track.
