“Is a Smooth Society Right Around the Corner?” by Ken Suzuki and Takehiro Ohya features a discussion between Ken Suzuki, the author of A Smooth Society and Its Enemies: PICSY, Dividual Democracy, and Constructive Social Contract Theory (Keiso Shobo, 2013), and Takehiro Ohya, a philosopher of law who specializes in information society studies and serves as the editor of this special feature.
In this dialogue, they revisit the concept of a “smooth society,” examining its ideas while reflecting on the societal changes and technological advancements that have occurred since the publication of the book.
