Notice Regarding the Online Sales and Shipping Schedule for the “Katsuhiro Otomo × Ghost in the Shell” Tribute Merchandise

Thank you very much for your continued interest in The World of  Shirow Masamune exhibition and Ghost in the Shell.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to explain the details regarding the sales method and pricing of this product.

 

The current sales method has been adopted for the following reasons:

To prevent bulk purchases for resale purposes

To ensure fair purchasing opportunities for as many customers as possible, as production quantities are limited

 

Regarding the pricing, please note that it differs from other artists’ tribute T-shirts.
This is due to additional production costs arising from the special accelerated development process implemented in order to make the product available during the exhibition period.
We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.

 

While we will continue to use the lottery-based sales system, following discussions between the World of Shirow Masamune Production Committee and Mr. Katsuhiro Otomo, we have decided to significantly expand production to make the products available to more customers.
Production quantities for each item — T-shirts, posters, and postcards — will be increased to over 10,000 units each.
We will also continue to implement strict measures to prevent resale.

 

In line with these changes, we will be partially adjusting the shipping schedule as follows:

As previously announced, shipments are scheduled to begin sequentially from late November.
However, due to the expanded production and logistics adjustments, the final shipping schedule will be announced once all order details have been confirmed.

 

The latest updates will be shared on the official World of Shirow Masamune and Ghost in the Shell social media accounts, as well as on the official Ghost in the Shell global website.
