Ghost in the Shell The Exhibition: th × GHOST IN THE SHELL Collection
- Overview
- The PIXEL OVERPRINT TEE features original manga artwork rendered across the entire front using silkscreen printing. Incorporating halftone dot processing reminiscent of 1990s subculture, the semi-rubber ink produces a subtly sunken, matte texture that evokes the familiar feel of a timeworn archival T-shirt.
Though a static image, the design aims to visualize the boundary between analog and digital—echoing the fluid flow of information that defines the world of Ghost in the Shell.
The SYNC series places the iconic title logo on the front in finely detailed embroidery. On the back, the brand logo is deliberately embedded within the phrase “synthetic dream” and printed in semi-rubber ink. Drawing on the enduring sci-fi question, “Do machines dream?”, the design embodies the ambiguity of a future where human and machine, self and imitation, reality and simulation intersect.
