”GHOST IN THE SHELL” and GEEKS RULE collaboration T-shirt will be available soon

- Focusing mainly on the golden age of T-shirts in the 1990s, GEEKS RULE was established with the aim of passing on Japan's proud culture to future generations through T-shirts, focusing on the selection of subject matter, design, printing techniques, body, and other aspects.
The latest items are two collaboration T-shirts with “Ghost in the Shell,” an anime work written by Shirow Masamune and directed by Mamoru Oshii, which was released in 1995.
This time, we have selected a key visual of Motoko and a scene of Batou of Public Security Section 9, paying homage to T-shirts sold overseas in the 90's of “Ghost in the Shell” whose prices have skyrocketed even in the vintage T-shirt market. While using the same silkscreen printing method as used in those days, the T-shirts are reproduced more faithfully than the original images released at the time, using advanced reprinting technology.
In addition, Mamoru Oshii, the director of the film, personally appeared on the T-shirt and wore the key visual of Motoko ver.1.
The collaboration T-shirts will be on sale at GR8 stores on June 9 (Sun.), and then on GR8 online from the following day, June 10 (Mon.). In addition, GEEKS RULE will hold a lottery on June 11 (Tue.).
