“GHOST IN THE SHELL” and GEEKS RULE will release their second collaboration T-shirt!

Focusing mainly on the golden age of T-shirts in the 1990s, GEEKS RULE was established with the aim of passing on Japan's proud culture to future generations through T-shirts, focusing on the selection of subject matter, design, printing techniques, body, and other aspects.The latest GEEKS RULE item is the second collaboration with “GHOST IN THE SHELL,” an anime work written by Shirow Masamune and directed by Mamoru Oshii, which was released in 1995.

This time, the iconic poster visual and the iconic illustration of Motoko, which was also used on the jacket of the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack, are both used.The poster visual has a white body with the logo printed on the back.The illustration of Motoko on the front is printed in a larger size than the vintage version, creating a very impactful piece of clothing.The visual of Motoko used on the jacket of the soundtrack is also printed in a larger version than the one circulated in the vintage version. The ”GHOST IN THE SHELL” T-shirt has been updated with a new logo color to match the black body.

The collaboration T-shirt will be on sale at Dover Street Market Ginza on July 13 (Sat), followed by the Dover Street Market Ginza E-SHOP on the following day, July 14 (Sun). The items will also be sold by lottery at GEEKS RULE online from July 15 (Mon).
