“Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045” × NICT WarpDrive: Tachikoma Security Agent now features a new “Training” function!

- WarpDrive, a project dedicated to countering web-based cyberattacks led by the Cybersecurity Nexus (CYN) of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), has announced a major update to its Tachikoma Security Agent. The update introduces a new character-nurturing feature developed in collaboration with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.
The WarpDrive project provides the Tachikoma Security Agent free of charge as part of an initiative to build a user-participatory attack observation network. To enhance the user experience (UX) and encourage participation, the agent includes various security tools as well as gamification elements, such as a security quiz action game aligned with IT certification exams.
The latest update introduces a new gamification layer: a Tachikoma Nurturing Feature. By browsing various websites, the Security Agent (Tachikoma) grows and evolves into diverse forms. Through these continuous improvements to the user experience, the project aims to accelerate the research, development, observation, and analysis of user-driven cybersecurity measures.
