Major Update to “WarpDrive” Web-Borne Cyber Attack Prevention Project

- WarpDrive," a project to combat web-mediated cyber attacks, received a major update on Monday, October 16.
What is "WarpDrive"?
WarpDrive" is a user-participatory web-mediated cyber-attack countermeasure project to understand the reality of web-mediated cyber-attacks, in which users are infected with malware simply by browsing malicious web sites, and to improve countermeasure technologies. The anime "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) have teamed up to launch Tachikoma Security Agent ("Tachikoma SA") for PCs and Tachikoma Security Agent Mobile ("Tachikoma Mobile") for Android smartphones. Tachikoma SA is distributed free of charge for PCs, and Tachikoma Security Agent Mobile (Tachikoma Mobile) for Android smartphones, to observe, analyze, and warn users of web access.
Updates to Tachikoma Mobile
A new game feature, "Training Program," has been added that allows users to immerse themselves in the world of the "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" series and learn about security and IT in the real world while playing.
In the game, users take on the role of a rookie investigator of Public Security Section 9 (a.k.a. Ghost in the Shell) and undergo a training program. In the training program, the user will operate Tachikoma in various courses and solve three quizzes related to security and IT. Upon successful completion of the courses, players will earn medals from characters that appear in the film. As you complete the courses to collect all the medals, you will gain knowledge about security and IT.
Updates to Tachikoma SA
The dashboard and other areas have been redesigned, and new wallpaper from the "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" series has been added.
